Ford’s Mustang has been a popular car for a long time. The 2023 Ford Mustang meets expectations with excellent performance and the option for a great sound system. For 2023, you can expect even more options and great driver assist features.

Performance

Mustangs are known to be high-performance vehicles, and they attract drivers who define that in different ways. As such, Ford has a lot of engine options to allow drivers to get exactly what they want. Two standout choices for 2023 are the Mustang GT with V8 and the turbocharged EcoBoost 4-cylinder.

The GT with V8 growls just the way you want it to. It gets 450 horsepower and can be paired with a manual transmission or a 10-speed automatic. The turbocharged 4-cylinder EcoBoost option still achieves 310 horsepower. While that’s less, it’s still more than classic V-8 Mustangs used to get and is impressively powerful.

Fuel Efficiency

The EcoBoost Premium does get you better gas mileage and becomes a fuel-efficient vehicle. It achieves 21 miles to the gallon in the city and 29 miles to the gallon on the highway. As the name implies, the EcoBoost option saves you money at the gas pump.

Meanwhile, there is the Mustang GT with a manual transmission and V8. This vehicle averages 15 miles to the gallon in the city and 24 miles to the gallon on the highway.

Sound System

You can’t just listen to your V8 roar all the time. Sometimes you’ll need some music, and Ford delivered for the Mustang. A 12-speaker Bang and Olufsen sound system with a subwoofer is an available option. The vehicle also comes with a CD player and HD Radio Technology. New Mustangs also come with a three-month All Access trial subscription to SiriusXM.

Connectivity

Ford has made their Sync 3 Infotainment system available on the 2023 Mustang. It comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There is an option for a Wi-Fi hotspot.

Ford Sync Connect is standard and so is Track Apps. Track Apps puts your performance metrics in the instrument display, so you can see lap times and acceleration times.

Available Driver-Assist Features

The hot new driver-assist features are available as options to add to your 2023 Mustang. These include lane-departure warnings and lane-keeping assist. There is also blind spot monitoring. You can have a rear-cross traffic alert.

There is also the option for forward-collision warning and automated emergency braking. Some trims have access to the optional adaptive cruise control as well.

Ford has always had a winner with the Mustang. Car enthusiasts will want to check out the 2023 model in person as soon as they can. Visit John Hinderer Ford now to see our new cars.
