From Your Ford Dealer: Introducing the 2024 Ford Mustang

Powertrain Options

Generating 315 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque, the Mustang’s standard 2.3L turbo inline-4 is plenty capable. It pairs with Ford’s 10-speed SelectShift automatic transmission to deliver stirring acceleration with a 0 to 60 time of just 4.9 seconds while helping to achieve an EPA-rated 33 MPG highway. A 5.0L V8 that makes a respective 480 hp and 500 hp on the GT and Dark Horse models can be had with a 6-speed manual featuring rev matching.

Giving the Mustang some extra growl and style is an optional quad chrome-tipped active valve performance exhaust system. A traction-enhancing 3.55 limited-slip rear axle and an engine block heater are also available.

Chassis

Precise handling and incredible stability result from the Mustang’s expertly tuned double-ball-joint MacPherson strut front suspension and integral-link rear suspension. When the MagneRide damping system is equipped, you’ll be able to set the ride to be more rigid for more aggressive driving dynamics or soften it for greater comfort. Drivers will feel very connected to the road thanks to the car’s well-weighted and direct steering.

Standard 12.5-inch front and rear disc brakes provide great stopping power, but track enthusiasts will want to choose the available 15-inch front brakes and 6-piston Brembo calipers.

Interior

The Mustang’s radically redesigned interior has a more streamlined look and stylish details like the metallic trim around the vents and available accent stitching. Instead of a traditional gauge display, the car features a highly customizable 12.4-inch LCD digital cluster. The front bucket seats have deep bolstering and available 6-way power adjustability and lumbar support for the driver.

You can select ambient lighting, Recaro leather-trimmed sport seats, and a wireless charging station, as well. While convertible models have 11.4 cubic feet of trunk space, fastbacks offer a bit more room for your cargo with 13.5 cubic feet.

Infotainment System

Every Mustang features a 13.2-inch Sync 4 infotainment touchscreen granting access to Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration and a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot. In addition to recognizing voice commands, this system also lets users stream their music and subscribe to SiriusXM satellite radio. The available 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen premium audio system promises an immersive listening experience.

With such a compelling list of features, Ford’s all-new Mustang easily keeps its spot as America’s top muscle car! Visit John Hinderer Ford in Washington Court House, OH today and see it for yourself!
